Beyond Aroma Olive Squalene is a plant-based squalene derived from olive oil. This lightweight oil is excellent moisturizer and emollient.
The sebum of human skin is composed of approximately 12% Squalene. It acts as a natural barrier that protects the skin from water loss. When we age, the amount of squalene declines which can cause the skin dry and dull.
The structure of Olive Squalene resembles human skin, which helps it get easily absorbed to provide a smooth, silky, non-greasy finish.
